Clear Creek History Park
The white building with green trim that is featured prominently in the front room window of The Golden Guest House was once a school. The Guy Hill Schoolhouse operated from 1876-1951 and was relocated from the nearby Golden Gate Canyon.
Many of the rest of the buildings were part of the Pearce Ranch (circa 1912) also relocated from Golden Gate Canyon.
Admission is free. Weddings, receptions, and parties are held here all year. Find out how at www.goldenhistory.org/visit/history-park
It’s also a favorite spot for local photographers to shoot family photos. Book a session while you’re here—it couldn’t be easier.
